Antique Sakura Bisque dolls, after 100 years, their clothes naturally become discolored or torn, making you want to change them, right? Ideally, you'd want an antique outfit from the same era, but those are hard to come by, aren't they? This is a white dress that a Sakura Bisque doll wore from the Taisho to early Showa periods. It was originally a long baby garment that covered the legs, but I wanted to make it a little cuter, so I sewed lace onto the hem and the lower part, and added a wavy pink braid under the lace. You can use it as is, or you can sew the areas where the pins are to shorten it. If you'd like, I can sew it for you before sending it (though it will be a novice's handiwork). The fabric is an old white cloth with a pattern, and I'm not sure if it's rayon or silk. The neckline is gathered with a running stitch, and the thread is pulled to fit. If you'd like, I can sew this part and leave the thread out so you can gather it.
