French Antique Rose Medallion Pattern Blue Border Fabric Reproduction Made in England Cotton Fabric Tissue Box Dust Box This is a work by a British artist using reproduction fabric. The inside is painted. The base appears to be made of thick carton, but it is a sturdy piece, like wood. The lid is made almost perfectly to size, so there is some rubbing on the fabric that touches the inside, and some peeling of the paint. The fabric used is a reproduction printed on ecru-colored sheeting, faithfully reproducing the pattern of French antique fabric.
