● 【Yoshieimon Kato】 is a charming ceramic artist from Gifu. Born in Gifu Prefecture in 1932. Born as the eldest son of the master craftsman "Jyuemon Kato" into a prestigious family with "Goroemon Kagetoyo Kato" as the founder of their pottery lineage, he inherited his father's excellent techniques and created ceramics such as Shino, Yellow Seto, and Oribe ware. After his father's death in 1974, he inherited the "Yasaka Kiln" and began to be known as 【Yoshieimon Kato】.
