This is an antique teapot. It has not been polished to respect its age. As I am not an expert, I cannot definitively say what the material is, but there is some blackening that is typical of silver products, so I believe it is an alloy containing some silver. Therefore, the price is not set as a silver product, but rather as a nickel silver (alloy). * The pattern on the body is proper engraving. * There is a maker's mark on the bottom (photo 4).
