This is an original shape guitar ordered from a Vietnamese manufacturer for approximately 152,000 yen. *The price is set high because I'm not really looking to sell it. I requested things like 0-25 frets, an original inlay on the 12th fret, dense ash, a rear pickup with 15k and a middle pickup with 7k Alnico 5, two-tone finish during production, and pale moon ebony under the headstock, among other things, which drove up the price (I persistently contacted them about specifications they initially refused, and eventually got them approved). This was also during a time when the yen was extremely weak, and the PayPal exchange rate was a factor... It cost USD 900 + shipping. It has a 26.5-25.5 inch fan fret, and the angle is steep, so if you're replacing the pickups, it's recommended to use 8-string pickups. (The front pickup has been replaced with an 8-string single coil.) Just be careful with the slant of the humbucker. The rear and center pickups are original, but the electrical components have been replaced. The tone control has a center click, with a low-cut when turned clockwise and a high-cut when turned counterclockwise. The set screws that hold the strings on the headstock have been replaced with stainless steel ones (because the original soft screws would strip when tightened). The sound is bright, as expected from the neck and body combination. The purpleheart is very rigid, and the truss rod only needed a slight adjustment during the initial setup. I prefer a low action that causes buzzing, and since I haven't played it in a while, it needs some fine-tuning, but it's still playable. The guitar says so too. Hello, I'm a guitar. I can fight.
