This is a Red Wing 9268. I purchased this item new. This model has already been discontinued. This particular pair has a manufacturing number in the 900s, making it a very early production run, which I think adds to its value. Non-steel toe versions have recently been re-released, so I believe the 9268 with steel toes will continue to increase in value. The condition is excellent overall, with minimal wear on the soles due to infrequent use. Since I ride a motorcycle with a right-side shifter, there is a scratch on the right boot where the shifter makes contact (this is why I marked it as having some minor scratches and dirt). If I were to continue wearing them, that area would get damaged, so I've done a simple repair with a commercially available repair material. It's not a significant amount of damage, so it's fine as is, but if you want to wear them in pristine condition, you could have them professionally repaired. Please check the condition in the photos.
