This horse is appealing in both material and form. Size: Approximately 10cm This is a funerary object unearthed in China. It is made of hollow red pottery, with white slip applied overall. There are traces of vermilion pigment on the saddle. Due to aging, the surface slip and pigment have peeled off, exposing the underlying pottery. There is a complete crack in the abdomen, and there are traces of adhesive from different eras. It seems to be firmly attached, but please be aware that it may come off during transportation. This is a good reference material for unearthed items of this era. Perfect for commemorating the Year of the Horse.
