【Sugi DH496M EM/AT AT-MAHO2P SGS】 This is a special one of a kind guitar from Sugi Guitars, one of the highest quality Japanese guitar brands! Featuring an exotic maple top with a sunrise-like grain, an Aqua Timber Mahogany 2P back, an Aqua Timber Birdseye Maple neck, and a Birdseye Maple fingerboard, this guitar boasts a carefully selected combination of Sugi's finest woods! The visual impact is undeniable, and the sound is uncompromising. The overtones, clarity, and responsiveness to picking that only Sugi can produce will leave you wanting more! The neck and fretwork are also meticulously crafted, providing a comfortable grip that feels like it's been molded to your hand, making it incredibly playable! There are two spots where the paint has chipped on the back of the body, and there is some metal tarnish and minor scratches, but overall, it's in beautiful condition. The bridge, tuners, and knobs have been treated with X-finish, a rust-resistant treatment. The neck is straight, and the truss rod is in perfect working order. (The neck hasn't moved at all since I purchased it) The frets show almost no wear, and the string height is 1.4mm on the 1st string and 2.0mm on the 6th string at the 12th fret, with no buzzing or dead spots. The string height can still be lowered further. The scale length is 628mm, a Gibson scale. Controls include a 3-way switch, master volume, and master tone (with a tone push switch for coil tapping the front and rear pickups). The pickups are Sugi originals. The bridge springs have been replaced with RAW VINTAGE springs.
