Najeon is a traditional Korean decorative technique that involves cutting and inlaying the iridescent inner shells of abalone or other shellfish into patterns. This najeonware is a meticulously crafted product, entirely finished by najeon artisans by hand. The ink has dried up due to long-term storage, but the refills can be replaced with Parker-compatible needle-point ballpoint pen refills. These are very common refills and can be found at stationery stores. Although it is new and unused, it has been stored at home, so please refrain from purchasing if you are overly meticulous. It is a very beautiful traditional craft item.
