Thank you for viewing. This is a solid ink stick purchased by my grandfather in China about 20 years ago. It has a dragon pattern carved into it, and the design is beautiful with a strong presence. The box has some damage due to aging, but the ink itself has been stored unused. I would like to offer it to someone who can use it for calligraphy or ink wash painting. The ink is inscribed with the characters "鳳龍舞翔 (hōryūbushō)", depicting a phoenix and a dragon dancing in the sky.
