Thank you for viewing. This is the coen collaboration limited edition "GUGU Bear" from the Sawahan Kobo, a local Iwate Prefecture toy maker, featuring Rokuhara Hariko. Rokuhara Hariko has been made in Iwate for about 60 years. The first generation (born in 1911) devised the "back-pasting" technique in the 1950s, and the third generation makes over a hundred kinds of hariko, including masks, zodiac figures, lucky charms, beckoning cats, Hina dolls, and okagari dolls. Everything is handmade, so there is no uniformity like a machine, but each one has its own personality. Size: Approximately H160 x W80 x D90mm Coen is written on the bottom.
