The real one is dark brown. 【Background】 A friend recommended Balumo Tsubaki, so I bought two bags on Mercari. However, I'm concerned about thinning hair, so I didn't take this and will be going to AGA treatment and taking Pantogar. Therefore, I put one unopened bag of Balumo Tsubaki purchased on Mercari up for sale, and I contacted the person immediately and offered a refund because it might be a fake. ・I gave the other bag to a friend. When my friend opened the product, they asked, "What is this?" I told them it was purchased from Mercari, and they said it was completely different from the Balumo Tsubaki they usually take. Just to be sure, they cut open the capsules and compared the contents. They told me for the first time that it was different from the Balumo Tsubaki they were taking. I immediately contacted the manufacturer and inquired about Balumo Tsubaki. The person in charge replied, "Regarding this product, the color, the size of the granules, etc., have not changed at all from before; it's the same capsule and dark brown." The manufacturer couldn't easily say anything more and suggested I check with the seller about the purchase route, so the call ended. I contacted the seller many times, but there was no reply. Finally, after a few days, I received a reply. ⬇⬇ Seller: "I am very sorry for the concern. Please rest assured that the product was purchased through a legitimate route." This was the response. I reported this to the manufacturer's headquarters again and asked them to reconfirm this Balumo Tsubaki, attaching photos. They checked it at the headquarters. The manufacturer replied for the second time, "This is not an authentic product." When I told the seller, they replied, "Purchased from a designated wholesale distributor." A different response. They were condescending and said they would refund if I wasn't satisfied, and were even more assertive. Of course, I received a refund. The manufacturer couldn't clearly say it was a fake, but they gently said it was different from their product. Fortunately, we didn't take it. I hope there are no health problems like with beni-koji (red yeast rice). I have already reported it to Mercari's administration.
