We have a direct contract with a Moroccan atelier, where they custom-make these for our Japanese customers, so the quality is far superior to those purchased at souvenir shops. These babouches use genuine leather (sheepskin) and are tanned using traditional methods. These babouches are made to minimize odor and are part of the odorless series, but individual perceptions of smell vary, so those who are sensitive to smells should refrain from purchasing. However, the leather smell will lessen with use, so please rest assured. The color may appear different from the actual product depending on your monitor.
