This is a summer visiting kimono featuring embroidery on a white ro (silk gauze) base with white, silver, and light blue threads. The ro is koma-ro (a type of silk gauze) from Gozen, the best ro producing area in Japan.
It is tailored with a lining from the waist down.
As it is ro, please wear it in July and August.
Due to global warming, it is getting hotter every year, so some people wear ro from June, and some wear it in September during the transitional season.
*This is for the kimono only; the obi (sash), obijime (sash cord), and obiage (sash panel) are not included.
