This is a kakuband (a type of sash for men's kimono). The colors, mustard yellow and black, are chic. The fabric does not have a silky sheen, is slightly thick but soft, and is made of cotton? wool? polyester blend? ... I'm not sure. It seems suitable for casual wear.
