This is a Tosoki (toso set) by Yoshihito Wajima. It's a set of sake vessels used to drink "Otoso," a medicinal herb-infused sake, on New Year's. Wajima-nuri Tosoki are traditional crafts. About Wajima-nuri Tosoki: Wajima-nuri is lacquerware made in Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture, and is particularly known for its "durability and longevity." It takes over 20 processes to complete, with each process being done by hand by specialized craftsmen. This one is simple and has a very lovely color. The handle is stainless steel.
