This studded loop holder is made with Tochigi Leather (cowhide), the highest quality domestic leather known for its reliability and proven track record. It undergoes a tanning process using only natural ingredients called full vegetable tanning. Compared to cheaper chrome tanning, which uses chemicals, this method allows for a lustrous and deep color change over time. The leather color is black. Due to the natural materials, the color density may vary depending on the leather. The loop holder is approximately 26mm wide and 180mm long (excluding the hardware), and about 85mm when folded. It can be removed with a hook-and-eye closure. It can be attached to belts up to 45mm wide. The studs are two-prong round head spots and acrylic color spots (turquoise color) from Standard Rivet Co., which has over 100 years of history in America. The studs are made of brass and nickel-plated. Please note that due to the handmade nature of the product, there may be minor scratches during the manufacturing process. Tanning with tannins generally results in a firm finish as the leather fibers are packed tightly, but the leather softens with use, developing character the more it is used. As the leather uses natural materials processed from animal skin, the surface of the leather may have various marks that the animal had when it was alive.
