Spoons and sugar tongs are almost unused; case has scratches and discoloration. Purchased 30 years ago at an antique shop in London while stationed in the UK. It cost around 100,000 yen at the time. Although it is 107 years old, it still maintains its beautiful silver shine. Meaning of the hallmarks: ・Left-facing lion, called Lion Passant → Indicates Sterling Silver (92.5%) ・Crown → Indicates that Sheffield is the assay office. Since the area where Tom Senior is located is next to Sheffield, I presume they confirmed it was sterling silver in Sheffield. ・b → Indicates the year of manufacture, 1919, from the Sheffield date letter. ・JR → Indicates the name of the workshop where it was manufactured.
