If you require damage insurance, please notify us before purchase as it will require an additional shipping fee. ★ Lead wire terminals often use phosphor bronze or other copper alloys because they are less likely to cause poor contact during use compared to softer materials like ordinary copper. Therefore, avoid forcing them in too hard, as this can easily break them off at the base. (Compared to copper, these alloys are harder and less ductile, making them more prone to breaking under impact.) Use needle-nose pliers to gently insert the terminals, gripping the flat part of the tip, near the insertion point. The hole diameters at both ends of standard lead wires differ from the start, even when unused. Cartridges and headshells also have varying attachment diameters depending on the manufacturer, so be careful not to break them during installation. If it's too tight, widen the hole slightly before inserting. We have thoroughly checked the items, and the terminals are harder than copper, so it is unlikely they will break or deform during normal shipping. We have tested them by dropping them and stepping on them with shoes, and they should be fine unless intentionally damaged. Very rarely, there are reports of items arriving broken or deformed.
