Water Resistance: Tyvek maintains its strength even when wet. Water Pressure Resistance: Tyvek does not allow liquids to pass through up to a certain pressure. Water pressure resistance varies depending on the product number, but is approximately 8kpa to 17kpa. Temperature Resistance: The dimensional change of Tyvek under constant temperature is less than 0.01% even at a relative humidity of 0-100%. There is also no change in strength. Lightweight: The bulk density of Tyvek is about 0.4g/cm³ for the hard type, making it a much lighter material compared to general paper.
