This is a rare, made-in-Japan Kurume Kasuri fabric. Originally, this fabric was used to make domestically produced Monpe (work pants) for women for many years. It was purchased directly from the manufacturer, and was quite expensive even at the time. This item is unused, so there are no creases, wrinkles, or pinholes. Because it is a properly woven Kasuri fabric, the pattern appears clearly on the reverse side as well. (Unlike inexpensive printed fabrics) It was stored in the manufacturing factory. Therefore, there may be a slight odor, but dust and debris have been removed, and it will be lightly rinsed and washed, and shipped with a simple ironing (using a household iron). ※Please consider that this is for Boro (patchwork), old cloth, and remake purposes, and understand accordingly. ※The 10-yen coin is for reference of the pattern size.
