The furisode is in good condition, with a firm and very thick fabric. It is not see-through. It was a gorgeous furisode with vermilion red flowers and gold leaf on a silk furisode fabric with a textured pattern. Photos 17 and 18 show a high-neck top from my personal collection layered underneath as an inner layer. You can wear it alone in the summer, and in spring, autumn, and winter, you can layer it with innerwear, wear a cardigan, or layer it with spats, so you can use it all year round. Use detergents like Acron or Emal (they rinse well, so 2-3 rinses are sufficient). When hand washing, wash gently without wringing, hang it on a hanger as is, and stretch out the wrinkles. Hang it in the bathroom, on the veranda, or outside, and the weight of the water will remove the wrinkles. If you are still concerned, use a steam iron, holding it 1-2cm away from the fabric, and it will finish beautifully.
