I believe there's over 80% remaining, as I've only used a teaspoon's worth. I'm not sure when it was opened, but I was able to use it without any problems last night. There are no noticeable stains, but there may be scratches or dirt on the exterior that I've missed. Please consider this a home-stored item, and only purchase if you are comfortable with that.
