Large floral arabesque patterns are woven on a deep, subdued purple background. What is particularly noteworthy is the fine woven structure that resembles total shibori (kanoko) applied to the petals. This gives it a very deep and luxurious finish, despite being a single color. The background has a fine texture, and the moderate luster adds elegance to the kimono's appearance.
