This is the Jupiter JEP-1120S, Jupiter's first euphonium with a compensating system (includes the genuine Jupiter 5G mouthpiece). I am selling it because I plan to buy a new instrument. I purchased it in 2022 and have mainly used it for practice at home. There are no dents, and there are no noticeable scratches, but there is one scratch from a belt buckle on the belly of the 2nd valve slide (the large U-shaped tube that extends from the bell and is located at the bottom of the instrument) (on the back of the instrument, circled in red in photos 6 and 7), and a scratch on the bell on the back of the instrument (circled in red in photo 8). Other than that, it only has polishing scratches and is clean with no dents. Also, this instrument was particularly easy to play in the low register (of course, it can also play in the high register). I also had it adjusted at a musical instrument store last summer. In addition, for those who purchase it at the asking price, I will include a Denis Wick SM5U mouthpiece (purchased last December, used for about 15 days, photos 13-17) and valve oil (Tromba T2, new), Monster Grease (about half used), and a Yamaha Silver Cloth (L), new, in addition to the Jupiter genuine mouthpiece (JUPITER 5G). I found that two places on the vinyl edges of the instrument storage area of the case had melted about 1 cm each, and the melted parts are sticky to the touch (red marks in photo 1). I usually use a semi-hard case, and I haven't used the hard case. Other than that, the functions are fine, and the interior and exterior are clean. For the above reasons, I will lower the price to 290,000 yen.
