Listing is for a pair of 2. This is a pair of two generations of the familiar MX series, released in 1986 (1985 in Japan) and 1988-89. Around this time, with the release of CDs jointly developed by Philips and SONY in 1984, it was also the bubble period, and CD sales were central. Records were priced so high that even famous used record shops were shocking, and CDs were considered superior. In the late 1970s in New York, the I LOVE NY campaign began, and a license-free promotion like Kumamon in Japan today emerged.
