The collar is regular, and the mouton boa can be removed with Velcro and a zipper. It has epaulettes on the shoulders, large bellows snap pockets and slash pockets on both front sides, a zip-up front, and snap closures with flat-head black rivets on the top and two at the bottom. The sleeves have single snap closures, and the hem has accordion elastic inside the retro leather. There are shallow G1 symbolic action pleats on the back shoulder line, and air holes on the sides to prevent stuffiness. The lining is a matching color polyester and acetate blend, quilted and filled with batting, making it warm. There is an inner pocket on the left side. Over time, the brown and dark brown colors have subtly changed, and the wrinkles and color variations of the thick, soft genuine sheep leather, along with some scuffs and color changes on the edges and sleeves, create a very cool flight jacket that cannot be experienced with a new item.
