☆ Caohagan Quilt ☆ Brand new, unused. In the world of quilting, this is a Caohagan quilt with a unique flavor. Made by the free and open-hearted islanders of Caohagan Island in the Philippines. Unlike the neat and orderly quilts of Japan, this quilt is made by freely cutting fabric without using rulers or paper, resulting in a relaxed and honest feel. It uses colorful fish and bright fabric patterns reminiscent of a southern island, creating a striking and wonderful piece. I purchased it over 15 years ago at a patchwork quilt exhibition held in Nagano City, at the NGO's corner for Caohagan.
