The prequel to the live-action film adaptation of the popular comic "Gakkougurashi!" is being exclusively distributed on Amazon Prime Video as the original drama "Gakkou ××× ~Mou Hitotsu no Gakkougurashi!~". Hinako Sakurai, known for "Marmalade Boy" and "Uirabu.", stars in her first horror role, depicting the daily lives and shocking events of high school students. The film is based on the manga of the same name by Norimitsu Kaihou (Nitroplus) and Sadoru Chiba, serialized in "Manga Time Kirara Forward." It portrays the daily lives of four high school girls who form the "School Living Club" at Megurigaoka Private Academy and live together at school, as well as a survival horror story of their struggle to survive in a world dominated by "them." Nanami Abe, Midori Nagatsuki, Wakana Majima, and Rio Kiyohara from Last Idol star in the film. The drama, which unfolds a completely original story, stars Sakurai as Yukari Sawatari, a third-year student in the drama club. Rena Takeda from "Jinro Game Inferno" and "Poetry Angel" plays Kozue Kubota, a fellow third-year student working on a documentary. Mikuru Uehara from "Girls Step" plays Misaki Shinohara, Ei Mori, from "Hinokage no Isan," plays Riko Harada, a second-year student, and Mio Yuki from "Chihayafuru: Musubi" plays Riko's childhood friend, Maho Takajo.
