New Elixir 09-42 strings were installed in October. As there is not much information available about this old item, I have referred to the description I received at the time of purchase. Please contact me before proceeding with payment. <Product Condition (Description)> 1. Year of Manufacture: 1980 2. Frets: Approximately 80% remaining 3. Truss Rod: Adjustable 4. Neck: No warping (straight) 5. Reconditioned, set up, and restored to original condition by a professional. There are no issues with playability, and the sustain plate provides excellent long-tone resonance. 6. There are minor scratches due to aging, but no noticeable dents or damage. 7. There are no issues with the neck or body. Tuning is also not a problem. 8. No issues with the electrical system (Note: No bi-sound function). This item is one of only 220 produced between July and September 1980. It is a fully original model, not a repainted or modified one. Such a well-preserved example is an extremely rare find, rarely appearing even in auctions. The custom specifications, such as the open white pickups and the "TAKANAKA" logo on the truss rod cover, which replicate the look of Masayoshi Takanaka's SG2000 MT, which he still uses, are its most distinctive features. The long sustain is made possible by Yamaha's unique through-neck construction and sustain plate mechanism, maximizing the performance of the SG2000. It will be carefully packed and shipped.
