Although very thin, it provides a moderate compression, and there's a clear difference in swelling between days when I wear them and days when I don't. They are smooth and don't feel scratchy, so they are comfortable to wear. They also have a cool sensation even in the recent heat, and it's an item that doesn't easily feel stuffy.
