Thank you very much for viewing. This vintage miniature car is a product of the now-defunct Italian miniature car manufacturer "Mercury," released in 1962. It is a product of the Mercury company of Turin, Italy, with product number 32, a Lancia Flavia Coupe Pininfarina, at a 1/43 scale. It is a genuine product with the "MERCURY" trademark, from that time. Mercury was the first miniature car manufacturer in the world to fully implement action features in 1962. Along with this Flavia Coupe, five other models, including Art.7 Fiat 1500 Spyder, Art.11 Bianchna Panoramica, Art.23 Fiat 2300 Coupe, Art.24 Maserati 3500 G.T.I., and Art.34 Maserati 3500 Competizione, were imported to Japan in 1962 by Asahi Toy. The bottom plate has the "MERCURY" trademark with a gear mark (see image: 10th frame). By the way, there are accessories such as a Boston bag in the rear trunk, making this a fun miniature car. In the October 1962 issue of "Collector" magazine, around the same time it was imported to Japan in 1962 by Asahi Toy, the Model Pet No.3 Subaru 360 cost 150 yen, the British Corgi No.238 Jaguar Mark X Saloon cost 600 yen, the British Dinky No.194 Bentley S Cabriolet cost 450 yen, and the French CIJ No.3-6 Citroen Ami Six cost 330 yen. In comparison, Mercury products cost 950 yen, indicating that Mercury's miniature cars were quite high-end. This is the original condition of a vintage miniature car released 60 years ago.
