For sale: KAMAKA HF-2 Hawaiian Koa Concert Ukulele Includes hard case. Made in 2004. High-G tuning. 12F joint, 16F total. My ukulele journey began in 2004. I bought a Kamaka Standard (HF-1) and practiced with the goal of playing "Crazy G." In 2006, I was blown away by Jake Shimabukuro's performance in the movie "Hula Girls" and became a huge Jake fan. I then bought a Kamaka HF-2 around 2007, aiming to perfectly copy the "Hula Girls" performance. I was captivated by the solo "Hula Girl" on the "Live" album released in 2009, and bought a tenor ukulele in 2017, but I gave up because it was too big. Since then, I haven't played this ukulele much either. So, I used it for about 10 years, from 2007 to 2017. Maintained in September 2025 at a professional shop in Osaka. The existing pegs have been replaced with Gotoh UPTL gear pegs. Tuning is comfortable and accurate, making it easy for beginners to use. Above all, the sustain is amazing, and the octave pitch is also accurate. It's well-balanced for both solo melodies and chord rhythms, and is recommended for everyone. The string height is about 3mm, making high chords easy to fret (No. 17). The camera position is slightly higher than the strings, so it looks like about 2mm in the image. There is a tiny scratch of about 1mm on the left side of the head. You can barely feel it with your fingertip (No. 19). Kamaka ukuleles with gold labels were made from the 1940s to the 1960s, and white labels were used until 2000. The model was changed in 2001, and rosewood is used for the fingerboard. The shop gave it their seal of approval, saying it's "a good one for its age." Please rest assured as it has been maintained by a specialist shop. Final check and cleaning were done on 2025/10/28. Also, the strings were replaced with new Worth Strings CM (Clear). This is a ukulele that has aged over time. Please consider and purchase only if you are not concerned about this. #kamaka #HF2 #HawaiianKoa #Concert #gotoh #UPTL #KamakaKoaUkulele Thank you for looking.
