I remade a furisode (long-sleeved kimono) I bought at a recycle shop. It's made of crepe and is a beautiful item with vibrant colors. The lining of the long bag is the same kimono's lining. The lining of the body bag is the hakke (lining of the lower part of the kimono) from another kimono. There are some sewing marks and creases. The photo shows a Tsugaru shamisen (a type of Japanese lute) inside. The shamisen is not included. Materials: Outer fabric: silk (furisode) Lining: long bag - silk body bag - unknown Handmade by an amateur. Please be aware of this. Below are my personal thoughts... The shamisen's sound gets muffled when it's not played for a while, but I feel like it gives a good sound the more you play it. However, I feel like it gives a good sound from the first strike when stored in the silk long bag and body bag. (*^^)
