There are pockets on both sides of the waist to prevent the fukusa (silk cloth) from falling out, and it also supports the reverse hand tea ceremony. There is stitching below the chest area to securely hold kaishi (paper used in tea ceremony). The overlapping part is deep, so there is no worry of the kaishi falling out. The shoulder straps are longer than conventional aprons, allowing you to adjust the waist size, so it can be used regardless of body type. The shoulder straps are passed through the metal fittings on the sides and crossed at the back. Darts are incorporated in a three-dimensional way to prevent the straps from falling off the shoulders, and the ends of the straps have corners to make them easier to pass through the metal fittings on both sides. Soft interfacing is used on the front, and thick, hard interfacing is used in the pockets and shoulders. The silhouette is, of course, but you can feel the attention to detail in every part of the garment.
