The Schlegel family, intellectual and idealistic, and the Wilcox family, practical businessmen, become acquainted during a trip. Helen, the younger daughter of the Schlegels, is invited to the Wilcox's villa, Howards End. In the beautiful countryside, Helen falls for Paul, the Wilcox's second son, and writes to her sister expressing her intention to marry him. Her sister, misinterpreting this as an engagement, rushes over, but Paul has no such intention... This is a rental return, so there are stickers on the jacket.
