Poncho-style Pashmina Shawl with Kashmiri Hand Embroidery Terracotta Color A rare poncho-shaped pashmina with delicate hand embroidery. The fine embroidery, measured in millimeters, is vividly colored with red, orange, yellow, and purple. I've included photos with a ruler to show the intricate handwork, see photos 8 and 9. There is also a bold pattern on the back. A one-of-a-kind piece with high artistic value. I was told that this hand embroidery, called Sozni embroidery, was created by skilled artists over a long period of time. Leaves, flowers, and paisley patterns intertwine with vine-like motifs, creating an oriental style. Unlike a rectangular shape, the poncho style drapes well over the shoulders, giving an elegant impression. It looks great worn casually, or you can cinch the waist with a belt or ribbon. The main color is cocoa brown. I think it's an easy color to coordinate with. It seems versatile enough to wear with shirts, blouses, turtlenecks, or hoodies. It also pairs well with dresses, and looks great casually with denim. You can also wear it as an accent over your jacket or coat. I found it at a specialty shop in London.
