My son wanted a Telecaster, so I revived a guitar covered in stickers. I removed the stickers from the fretboard position markers up to the 12th fret, but there's a difference in color due to sun fading. I cleaned the whole guitar and polished the body with compound. There are many scratches. No case included. No crackling. Sound tested and confirmed. Please understand that this is a junk item due to many modifications and touch-ups. The following parts were replaced with new ones a few months ago: Pickguard → Fleor Ivory Pre-wired control plate → Yibuy Rear pickup → Fleor Alnico 5 Tone pot → Alpha full-size 250Ω Capacitor → Montreux Retro Vibe Oil Capacitor (this was reused) Saddles → Montreux Brass Saddles The strings were replaced a few days ago with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky (010-gauge) and only test-played. I spent a lot on parts and worked hard to get it to this point for my son. The sound is also very good. My personal impression of the sound through a Marshall DSL1 is that it sounds like a Telecaster when played with low gain and high treble, but it also has a thick, powerful sound that doesn't get muddy even with high gain. It's more of a gutsy sound, similar to a Les Paul Jr. or LP Special, rather than the typical Telecaster "twang." But sadly, my son (a 4th grader, lol) has started to get into Steve Vai and said he wants a guitar with a tremolo arm, so I'm going to sell it. Slight price reduction is OK. Thank you very much.
