Kyoto Fine Gold Thread Set Red Gold, Blue Gold 145g x 2 Purchased from an antique dealer at a roadside station in Niwa during a drive trip to Kyoto last year. I was told that these were from the closure of a long-established embroidery thread shop, although I'm not certain. I was captivated by their shine and purchased them for photography. The texture is as it is, but they are considered old. They are a reddish gold and a bluish gold. The thickness is quite fine, perhaps around a size 50 thread, but I am not familiar with gold thread, so please use this as a reference. The weight is about 145g each, for a total of about 290g.
