New, unused, and stored at home, this is a set of three sometsuke (blue and white) plates (everything in the images). The designs are hand-painted by artisans, and each one has subtle differences in the shades of the cobalt blue and the brushstrokes. Although they are new and unused, the inspections were not as strict as they are now, so there may be warpage, chips on the rim, and iron spots (see images 5 and 6).
