I have actually used it for concerts and competitions for about 5 years. It is a cherished instrument, but I am now stepping up to a higher-end model, so I am listing it for sale to someone who will cherish it. ⸻ ■ About the Tone The biggest appeal of this instrument is its rich viola-like mid-low range and its warm, sweet resonance. The stiffness of a new instrument has been removed, and after being played for 5 years, its response and stability have improved. It is easy to handle in both solo and ensemble playing, and its enveloping sound, especially when playing inner voices, is impressive. ⸻ ■ Adjustments and Customizations To achieve a better sound, the following adjustments have been made: ・Replaced pegs, tailpiece, etc. with boxwood parts (approx. ¥30,000) ・Replaced bridge from mass-produced to a higher grade (approx. ¥9,000) ・Settings focused on response and projection (e.g., soundpost position adjustment) This is not a standard instrument, but an instrument that has been "finished through playing." ⸻ ■ Currently Installed Strings ・C / G / D strings: Spirocore ・A string: Larsen (ball end) Replaced on January 12, 2026, used for about 1 month with infrequent playing, they are still in good condition for use. ⸻ ■ Set Contents ・Viola body (GLIGA Gama II 16 inch) ・Workshop-made Pernambuco bow (like new, included bow) ・Super Shell Black Case (Toyo Case) ・KUN SUPER Shoulder Rest ・Rosin (Black Cat Dark) This is a practical set that allows you to play immediately upon arrival. *The bow has no engraving. ⸻ ■ Condition ・No major cracks or repairs. ・There are minor scratches from normal use, but they do not affect playing. ・It has been handled with care, but please understand that it is a used instrument. ⸻ The original price of the instrument was ¥250,000.
