This is a katsuobushi (dried bonito) shaver, likely from the mid-Showa era. It seems to have been left in the kitchen, and the wooden box has aged nicely, giving it a perfect retro Showa feel. I haven't cleaned it, and will be selling it as is. For those who love retro items, or perhaps as a small item storage box? The plane blade has no chips, and can still be used after removing rust and sharpening. It will be shipped via Takkyubin (Yamato Transport) in a 60-size box.
