This is a letter box for storing inkstones, brushes, ink, stationery, letters, etc. It can also be used as a valuables case, and as a Japanese-style interior decoration. Protective felt has been attached to the four corners on the underside of the lid for careful finishing. There are some scratches on the back of the box (see the arrow in the image). The front is in a beautiful condition. It has been stored at home for a long time.
