Martin saxophones, renowned for their high-quality vintage wind instruments, are also famous for being used by Art Pepper on alto saxophone. The saxophone offered here is a hand-crafted model manufactured in the late 1930s, also known as the "MARTIN Skyline." It features unique and elaborate engravings reminiscent of a UFO attack, making it a very rare model even among Martin's flagship "Committee" models. Regarding its condition, as it is an old instrument approaching 90 years of age, there is overall rust and minor scratches, and the paint is almost completely worn off. It was actively used until about 10 years ago, producing the deep, rich sound characteristic of vintage instruments. However, it has been stored in its case since then, so please consider that a re-adjustment will be necessary for serious use. It will be shipped in the sturdy Gator semi-hard case shown in the photos.
