This is a Knog alarm & finder SCOUT. I purchased it last year. Operation has been confirmed. The bicycle was stored indoors. *Please note that it only works with iPhones. The following is a product description: An innovative bike security system with both alarm and search functions. SCOUT is an innovative bicycle security system that combines both warning and search functions. When the bicycle equipped with SCOUT moves, an alarm of up to 80dB will sound. At the same time, a warning notification will be automatically sent to the owner's iPhone. If the stolen bicycle is left behind, you can locate it by linking with the Apple "Find My" app. To make the SCOUT's presence known, attach the included neon yellow silicone cover. Conversely, if you want it to be less noticeable, you can install it without the cover. The slim and compact design allows it to be bolted to the bottom of a bottle cage. The alarm can be activated and deactivated easily from the button on the side of the unit within close range (1.5m), or from the Knog app if within Bluetooth range. It can operate for up to approximately 6 months on a single charge. Charging is only required about twice a year. You can charge it using a USB-C cable from the charging port without removing it from the bicycle.
