This is a "Betsudachi" (Special Make) model, forged with special specifications, different from the regular products. Based on superficial knowledge gained from the internet, the fact that the chikiri (tang) is crushed and a washer is inserted suggests a fairly careful construction. There are no blade chips or major scratches, but please understand that there are age-related changes and minor scratches due to home storage. As this is a bladed item, please handle it with extreme care. This is not a new item, so please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect condition.
