This is a writing box from my grandfather's collection, made by Kakuman. It's new and unused. The box was tattered and dirty, so I discarded it. Approximately 35 x 28 x 4.8 cm. It's probably the largest size among Ryukyu lacquerware writing boxes. These beautiful cinnabar lacquer pieces are no longer made, so it's rare.
