This is a set of five bowls with a petal-shaped design and gold-raised rose decorations, reminiscent of Old Noritake. There is a ceramic mark on the back that resembles the Old Noritake maple leaf mark, but its authenticity is unknown. The bowls also have stylish cat-paw feet. Furthermore, the vessels themselves are quite light, and based on the feel of the material, they likely date from the Meiji to Taisho eras. The gold trim on the edges is partially worn, and the glaze application is uneven, but these are items full of handmade charm.
