This is a DVD set of the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy (2 discs each), purchased in the UK 12 years ago. As it's a foreign product, it cannot be played on a TV, but it can be played on a PC (playback may not be possible depending on the PC model). *I'm not very knowledgeable about this, so there might be a way to watch it on TV. Also, I don't think Japanese subtitles can be added. The outer box has scratches and folds due to the nature of the material, but the DVDs themselves don't have many noticeable scratches or stains.
