Thank you for viewing. This item was stored in the storehouse of my grandparents' house, who were born in the Meiji era. The wooden box it was stored in is marked "Newly made in the 2nd year of Taisho." I decided to list it for sale because it seemed a shame to dispose of it. It seems it was used for guests at the time, so it wasn't used very often, but there are scratches, stains, and scuffs due to aging. Also, one lid is broken (see photo 14). I will clean it as much as possible before shipping, but as it is a very old item, please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for something in pristine condition.
